Olaide Fijabi has sent Ghana's Raphael Kwabena home in tears after he defeated him to withhold his Light Welterweight title in Lagos.
Fijabi defeated Kwabena via a split decision by the judges of the night.
Before the fight both boxers had threatened each other endlessly but Fijabi won the fight which held at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium on Sunday, October 2, 2016.
On the same night, a new National Cruiserwight champion emerged as Idowu "ID Cabasa" Okusote dethroned Ekeng "Fighting Policeman" Henshaw in a six round bout.
ID Cabasa knocked out Henshaw in the sixth round leaving him to claim the title as the new champion.

In the same vein, the colourful and National Light Heavyweight champion, Jude "Great Jude" Iloh was knocked out by Adewale "Masevex" Masebinu in their national challenge bout.
Prince "Lion Nwoye" had started the trend by knocking out Sikiru "Omo Iya Eleja" Shogbesan in the sixth round of their National Lightweight bout.
Other winners on the night were Kabiru "KB Godson" Towolawi, who saw Olajide 'Germani' Olatunji off the ring and Semiu "Jagaban" Olapade, who defeated Ebubechukwu "Coded Man" Edeh.
