Nigerians are proud of champ after his huge win over Klitschko

After his win, Nigerians took to Twitter to remind the world that Joshua is one of them.

Joshua defeated veteran Ukrainian Klitschko in a world heavyweight title fight epic in front of 90,000 people at Wembley on Saturday, taking victory on an 11th round stoppage.

With that win, Joshua who is Nigerian-born added the WBA title to his IBF.

Although born in Watford, the 27-year-old has a Nigerian mother Yeta and a British father of Nigerian and Irish descent.

Truly the new WBA and IBF heavyweight champion has always been proud of his Nigerian roots, always talking about his connection to the country.

After his win, Nigerians took to Twitter to remind the world that Joshua is one of them.
