African celebrities that were shot to stardom by just one social media post

The transition to stardom of these individuals re-enforced the place of social media in the social structure of the continent.

With about 170 million active African social media users, the technology has become more of an ecosystem which is perfectly linked to social, political and business sphere of activities on the continent. These numbers show that there is no excuse for you not to have a social media presence.

These three celebrity brands were created from non-existent foundations as the women involved did not have any prior knowledge of social media and its intricacies.

With just one social post especially on Facebook and Instagram, a star was born out of these personalities.
