NFF inks another sponsorship deal for Super Eagles ahead of Russia 2018

The signing, makes it the tenth year since TomTom first announced partnership with the Super Eagles in 2008.

Ahead of the of 2018 world cup in Russia, the Nigerian Super Eagles welcomed a new sponsor, TomTom.

The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF has signed a three year deal with Cadbury Nigeria to have minty candy, TomTom as the Official Candy of the Super Eagles.

The Managing Director of Cadbury Nigeria Plc. Amir Shamsi and the President of the NFF, Amanju Pinnick confirmed the official signing of the contract in separate interviews.

Pinnick lauded Cadbury Nigeria saying that the Nigerian football body will work with TomTom and leverage on the partnership to bring glory to the national teams at every tournament.

“We are grateful to TomTom for being a backbone of all our national teams. TomTom is a premium brand from Cadbury Nigeria Plc,” Pinnick said.

On his part, Shamsi said “We are delighted to announce TomTom as the official candy of the Super Eagles. We are proud to say our partnership with the Nigeria Football Federation and by extension, the Super Eagles of Nigeria is not a coincidence.”

Earlier in the year, the NFF had signed off sponsorship deals for the Super Eagles and they include Coca Cola, Wapic Insurance and Peak Milk.
