It's good to deworm at intervals to keep the body in great shape and avoid worm infestation, a common health hazard that could be fatal.

Worms can be found in the digestive tracts and all around the system amongst other parasites that can cause the body harm when left unattended to.

Some worms including round worms can cause dry cough and wheezing, hookworm can cause iron deficiency, some rare worms that can cause severe damage to one's health and so on. It's therefore important to deworm often.

Apart from consciously deworming from time to time, there are foods that do this naturally and without side effects (or the fear of passing out actual worms which a lot of people think happens but doesn't usually anymore!)

1. Water and Lime/Lemon

Drink a mix of water and lime or lemon once in a while to help flush out worms in the gut. Try taking this everyday for a week to get rid of worms.This is good enough to be taken everyday as it benefits the overall body and its immune system.

Ensure to drink this on an empty stomach.

2. Blended Carrots

Carrots are loaded with Beta Carotene and Vitamin A that help clean the digestive tract. Blend carrots often and drink to cleanse the intestine and flush out intestinal worms. You can eat carrots often or blend drinking both the juice and pulp on an empty stomach to get rid of threadworms.

Do this straight for a week on an empty stomach to get rid of worms.

3. Coconut oil

4. Ginger

Ginger has fast become a medicinal food and works well to clean the guts. Eating a small piece of ginger first thing in the morning for a week straight before eating food works to get rid of worms and other parasites in the body. It's used to deworm naturally.

5. Garlic
