Blue whale calves are the largest animal babies in the world, clocking in at a whopping 1360kg — almost the same size as a small car. They put on 90 kg a day by guzzling their mother's fatty milk. Meanwhile, bat pups are nowhere near as large, but make up a fourth of their mother's bodyweight.
