<h2>Nollywood actress Sola Sobowale has extended heartfelt congratulations to Sharon Ooja, who got married to Ugo Nwoke on June 29, 2024.</h2>

The Nollywood veteran took to her Instagram account on July 1, 2024, and posted pictures from Sharon's recent wedding ceremony, capturing the essence of Sharon's radiant presence as a bride.

"My darling Sharon. What a beautiful bride you make," she wrote affectionately. Sobowale expressed her happiness and went on to pray for the newlyweds.

"May God bless your home and union. As you gleam with so much joy, may that joy continue to grow and radiate through your warm spirit. I am so happy for you, my darling. Your marriage will succeed! The Lord will cause His favour to rest on you and Ugo. Happy married life, my dear @sharonooja," she concluded.

Sharon Ooja commented on Sobowale's post, saying, "I love you, mummy. ❤️❤️ Thank you."

Recall that the award-winning actress&nbsp;<a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.pulse.ng/entertainment/celebrities/sharon-ooja-nollywood-actress-announces-surprise-wedding/cx2dg1l">announced that she had tied the knot</a>&nbsp;back in March 2023 in a heartfelt post on her&nbsp;Instagram&nbsp;account. She stressed that she had said yes to her husband's wedding proposal a few months before, adding that the civil ceremony was already done. At the time, however, she kept her husband's identity hidden from the world, and the news of her marriage was received with great joy by her fans and colleagues.

On June 27, 2024, the day of Sharon and Ugo's traditional wedding ceremony in Abuja, <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.pulse.ng/entertainment/celebrities/sharon-ooja-finally-reveals-the-identity-of-her-odogwu-silencer-husband/qx8q8gx">the actress finally revealed</a> her "Ododwu Silencer's" identity. Her Instagram video captured her and her husband, dressed in matching sparkly white attire, walking into their venue and embracing each other.

The white wedding took place on June 29, 2024, and was attended by many Nigerian stars and popular names.

A fascinating part of any movie is the costume, which depicts and reinforces a story. We know more about a character and their status in life by their costumes.

When the director of King of Boys, Kemi Adetiba announced that the anticipated sequel was a mini-series and not a movie, we leapt for joy in anticipation.&nbsp;

Now you might be wondering if the mini-series has lived up to the hype. Certainly, it has. King of Boys 2 has been trending on social media since its release on Friday, August 27, 2021.

Every character’s outfit suited their personality but, of course, the star of the show Sola Sobowale who played the character of Alhaja Eniola Salami stole the spotlight in her fire outfits.

To pursue the vision of the styling, Adetiba sought the input of stylists Elegante by Tiannah and Abaya Lagos.

These two fashion houses came together to give us an explosive combination that portrayed Salami as a powerful woman.

The regal Abaya and mesmerizing hairband were striking and exuded upper-class aura.

The first time we see Salami, she is wearing a pristine white gown with a collar and we had no choice but to stan.

In a lunch meeting with the First Lady of Lagos State Jumoke Randle played by Nse Ikpe-Etim, Salami wore a blue Abaya with beads at the wrists from Abaya Lagos and, a blue turban.

For the scene of her seating at the table, she wore an embroidered blazer and skirt from Elegante by Tiannah and of course a turban that made her look like royalty.

Another character whose outfits suited her personality was the wife of the executive Governor of Lagos State in the movie.

In almost every scene, Nse had fiery red lipstick which made gave her this formidable look.

The power suits and gowns with puffy sleeves she wore unquestionably exuded arrogance.

A favorite look of hers would be the one she wore to visit the character known as Aare (played by Akin Lewis) in prison.

She wore a glistening green skirt suit with dramatic sleeves, plunging neckline and a little black hat that was perfectly dramatic.

1. She was an athlete in secondary school

It may surprise you to know that Sobowale was an athlete at a very young age.

Sobowale says she use to be an athlete who represented her state in sporting events back in the day; "Growing up, I remember that I represented Ondo State at many sporting events," she said during an interview back in 2017.

2. Parents wanted her to become either a teacher or a nurse

The dream of every parent is for their child to grow up to become successful. For a lot of African parents, the options are simply becoming lawyers, doctors, or engineers. Well, Sobowale's parents wanted her to become a teacher or a nurse.

"My dad actually wanted me to become a teacher, while my mum wanted me to become a nurse. In a way, I’m still doing those things they wanted, albeit in a different way," she told Punch in 2017.

3. She still does market errands by herself

A lot of people believe that once anyone attains a celebrity status, their lifestyle changes forever. It is agreed in many quarters that a celebrity is not supposed to be seen doing certain things only regular people do. Sobowale thinks differently as she still believes in going to the market by herself.

"Some celebs say they can’t go to the market but I can go to any market to buy whatever I want. I just have to be ready to greet people and chat with them and I do that. I’m not a prisoner!" she said.

6. She doesn't accept scripts that involves cuddling and smooching

"Yes ooh, they are so many. I am not going to go naked, definitely, and no smooching. Nobody is coming to smooch me, no smooching. I am a typical African woman; let’s stay like that, don’t let us take it to the foreign land…” she said while talking about roles she won't be taking in a movie.

7. She once saved a marriage from collapsing&nbsp;

Sobowale became a household name in the country after she starred in the popular TV&nbsp;drama series, 'Super Story: Oh Father Oh Daughter'. The whole of Nigeria watched every week as the actress serenaded everyone with her flawless acting skills.

Well, while everyone was enjoying her role as 'Toyin Tomato' in the series, it was also fixing a marriage somewhere. Surprised? The actress revealed how a woman told her that her character from the series saved her marriage.

"A lady walked up to me in Abuja and said ‘Thank you very much Toyin Tomato, you saved my marriage’. I said ‘What do you mean by that?’

“She said that her husband was like Suara (lead character) and there was someone out there like proper Toyin Tomato that was taking him away. She then called her husband to watch Super Story and he settled down, watched, listened, and saw the whole thing and he came back home."

<h1>Popular Nigerian actor, Jim Iyke revealed how he got back to Nollywood after a brief hiatus.</h1>

Iyke made the revelation while reacting to the news that the film made its debut on the global streaming platform, Netflix.

Continuing, the actor explained further why he film’s script compelled him back to act saying, “Creativity, uniqueness and a lot more. I just couldn’t afford to not be part of this movie. The cast members are incredibly talented. I always choose my script very carefully and when I got the script for Seven and a Half Dates, I just couldn’t turn my back on it.”

The film’s executive producer,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pulse.ng/entertainment/movies/teni-impresses-film-director-on-her-first-movie-role/m215pm9" rel="noopener noreferrer">Samuel Olatunji</a>&nbsp;revealed that the film has joined other Nollywood productions on Netflix.

The film grossed a total of N33million while it stayed in the cinemas.

Written by Joy Isi Bewaji and directed by Biodun Stephens, ‘Seven and a Half Dates’ was released in cinemas on August 3, 2018, and features&nbsp;Mercy Johnson, Sola Sobowale, Toyin Abraham, Bayray Mcnwizu, Frank Donga, Ali Nuhu, Akin Lewis, Jim Iyke,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Fathia Williams.

As the titular character in Okechukwu Oku's "Black Rose," Echelon delivers a subtle interpretation of her character, surprisingly free of the kind of unnatural intensity that often ruins melancholic Nollywood films like "Black Rose."

She takes viewers on a journey with her raw, vulnerable and emotional performance, which earned her a well-deserved AMVCA Best Actress nomination.

After a wonderful 2017, Rahama Sadau returned with a more spectacular performances in 2018.

The Kannywood star remained a recurring figure on the screens with her performances on productions that include ‘Up North’ and ‘If I am President.’

She also produced her first movie titled "Rariya," which won the Best Kannywood award at the City People Movie Awards.

Rahama has no plans of slowing down anytime soon and with her input in upcoming movies scheduled for release in 2019.

As a poor widow and mother of four in "Black Rose," Okaro effortlessly conveys her character’s kindness, toughness, maternal protectiveness and fear.

She is engaging, drawing viewers into the world of a woman confronted by circumstances beyond her control. She brings, as always, an incredible emotional depth to her pursuit of happiness in "Black Rose."

In "New Money," the character Toun isn't the easiest to root for. However, she is delivered by Osunde with a finesse that is hard to ignore.

In "Rumour Has It," Osunde delivers Ranti - an infuriating, ambitious, yet humorous character - with a performance that is impressive. And as Leila in "Shuga," she gives a performance that’s at once both fierce and naive.

Osunde has enjoyed a good year and has consistently been a delight in all her works so far this year.

Michelle Dede gave her all in 2018 to become one of the best actresses.

From her role in Izu Ojukwu directed ‘Power of 1’ to her role in Tope Oshin’s ‘Up North.’

Though she didn’t play the lead actress in both movies, Michelle, measured up to the lead characters in both movies and re-assured directors why she should be casted for more roles.

Her role in the TV series, Eve, is another reason to give kudos to Michelle’s acting prowess.

10. Funlola Aofiyebi Raimi

Known to have a knack for brilliance and perfection, Funlola Aofiyebi Riami gave one of the best performance in Tope Oshin directed movie, ‘We don’t Live Here anymore.’

The actress brought not only life to her character in the movie but also brought tears to the eyes of viewers with her convincing acts.
