<h1>Here are the artistes who turned all the way up and set the stage on fire with vibes after vibes.</h1>

<p>Mayorkun was in fact not a <em>Certified Loner </em>during the festivities at this year's Pulse Fiesta. He showed up in a stylish red and black leather jacket and black jeans with trendy sneakers to match. It was also hard to miss his large golden neckpiece dangling as he swayed and moved.</p>

<p>He graced the eager audience with a show-stopping performance of some of his popular tracks. The crowd at Pulse Fiesta came through with the vibes to match Mayorkun's high energy, especially when it came to his song <em>Holy Father</em>. The Mayor of Lay-Lay got so into it that his fancy jacket came off and the audience was there for all the vibes.</p>

<p>S-to-the-K said that he was coming to Pulse Fiesta with great vibes and he delivered! The singer had his unmistakable pink hair and wore a dazzling white tee coupled with a black sleeveless jacket and black trousers. With his performance came nostalgia as he sang some of his timeless songs like <em>Mukulu</em> and <em>Shake Body</em>. And truly he had the crowd bumping, shaking and grooving to his jams.</p>

<p>No need to ask "who's your guy?" because we already know "na only Spyro walahi." And he showed the audience exactly why he is their guy during his time at the bubbling Pulse Fiesta. Spyro turned up in stylish, black, low hanging trousers, a black shirt and a brown jacket. And to top it off he sported a black and white bandana on his head. His performance was so hyped that at some point, he pledged a whopping sum of ₦200,000 to a lucky fiesta-goer.</p>

<p>Adoring fans all wanted to hop in Olakira's Maseratti during his performance of the catchy song. From the singing, to the ad libs and the melody, Fiesta goers stayed glued to him gyrating on stage. His all black outfit was also particularly eye catching, and so was his hard-to-forget stylish black sunglasses encrusted with silver rhinestones on the frames.</p>

<p>Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, popularly known by his stage name CDQ,&nbsp;also sprinkled the crowd with a hint of nostalgia, performing his hit <em>Nowo E Soke</em>. His outfit was also simple yet impactful, complete with a white T-shirt, black trousers and matching white sneakers.</p>

<p>Dice Ailes did not disappoint during his performance, especially when singing his track <em>Otedola</em> which the crowd vibed to. He sported an all-white ensemble at the event and big brown boots, making his mark with every step.</p>

<p>Majeed sauntered the stage in a casual white sweatshirt with red details, a red baseball cap, a black pair of trousers complimented with a black pair of sneakers. He finished off with a shiny silver necklace with a round pendant.</p>

<h2>Thousands of Nigerians and their foreign friends gathered last weekend at <strong>Landmark Beach</strong> for <strong>Pulse Fiesta,</strong> the precursor event to the lazy December days.</h2>

<p>For the luckiest in Lagos, those who could fuel their tanks full, afford the rising surge on e-hailing platforms, and stand the I Just Got Backs (IJGBs) that have been flooding the streets all week, it seemed the obvious place to begin this year’s Detty December was at the event.</p>

<p>One mother strapped her infant on her back, dancing to the <strong>TikTok</strong> hit <strong><em>Water </em></strong>by the South African rising star <strong>Tyla</strong>, as the fire-breathing hype woman, <strong>Melody </strong>over and over again screamed on the top of her voice. At some point, she half-whispered “Choke me, daddy,” sending the crowd into a frenzy.</p>

<p>There was one family – father, mother, and two sons – under a cabana with a nanny in the queue for Chapman. Two sisters (or they could have just been friends) who were the perfect look-alikes of <strong>Angel Smith </strong>of <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.pulse.ng/topic/big-brother-naija">Big Brother Naija</a> fame. There were young lovers, party monsters, a handful of familiar faces, and one particular influencer pining to be recognised.</p>

<p>Pulse Fiesta occupies an uncanny position in the zeitgeist. It is one of the first big <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.pulse.ng/lifestyle/events/pulse-fiesta-detty-december-concerts-to-attend-in-lagos/wwj2bdz">Detty December activities</a>, early enough before people who actually live all year round in Lagos begin to get jaded by those who have invaded their city.</p>

<p>It is also a signal that it’s that time of the year to begin to respond to Slack messages later than usual and burn through wages faster because this month’s pay will come earlier than normal.</p>

<p>For hours last Saturday, DJ after DJ, hypeman after hypeman mounted the Pulse Fiesta stage, mixing beats, sweating, grooving, screaming as the occasional puff of smoke interrupted the crowd. For most of the evening, the famous Lagos "<em>gbana</em> nights” had come to life.</p>

<p>By the time the stars that dominated the year, <strong>Spyro</strong>, <strong>Majeeed</strong>, and those that have been stars for a long time <strong>Mayorkun</strong>, <strong>CDQ</strong>, <strong>Skales</strong> finally mounted the stage, the crowd was ready to party till dawn. And that was exactly what they did, partied till dawn.</p>
