On the latest edition, the housemates finally got the chance to defend their actions but not before a messy near cat fight between Maria and Beatrice.

Things heated up quite quickly between the ladies with Beatrice bringing up Maria’s 2021 alleged ‘married man’ scandal.

The ‘Shine Ya Eye’ stars had initially expressed dislike for each other with Beatrice claiming hers was born out Maria’s controlling attitude on the show.

For the first time since coming under intense fire for ‘sleeping with a married woman’, Boma explained that Tega had admitted to him, while in the house, that she was already separated from her ex-Husband.

“In my head, I was dealing with a single woman,” Boma explained.

For Tega, her actions were inspired by the strategy she adopted to play mind games on the housemates. She revealed that she had a chat with her estranged husband before the show, asking him to stay behind the scenes no matter what happened. Her strategy, however, changed when she came into the house and met JayPaul.

The fear of JayPaul ruining her well plotted plans forced her to admit she was still married. Outside the house, her husband had begun a campaign supposedly to rally supporters for her or so it seemed.

Ultimately, both stars admitted that they wish they opted for a less catastrophic strategy. Tega also hinted on considering suicide due to the months of intense online bullying.

Fresh out of the game, JayPaul launched a heartfelt campaign in support of Saskay. Sadly, when her time on the show ended, she made an infamous comment in the lines of not knowing who he was.

JayPaul also cited instances where he repeatedly made moves to maintain a healthy friendship with her but she was hellbent on denying him “more times than Judas denied Jesus Christ.”

The housemate, in his flippant and hilarious tone revealed that the viral voice note where he made comments about Saskay and her fan base was influenced by the rumours he believed to have come from her camp.

Cross also made interesting revelations in the new episode including how he turned down N20 million offered by their CrossKay fan base as well as endorsement deals and other juicy gifts.

Show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu brought the housemates up to speed with video clips from the season featuring the duo flirting.

Unsurprisingly, both Angel and Cross agreed that the clips only proved that they were friends who enjoyed each other’s company despite the presence of sexual energy.

However, their relationship went downhill after the house. Both stars had a lot to say about who was to blame.

Angel had accused Cross of being a “hypocrite” and a “gaslighter” who did not match the love and energy that she brought to their strictly platonic, no friends with benefits or strings attached (for clarity) friendship.

The 22-year-old hinted at a long list of ‘all the things’ she had done for Cross including personally cooking for him when he was ill despite having a cook, crossing the fiery Third Mainland bridge to visit with him and offering him money when he ran out of cash during their Dubai trip.

Reacting to Angel’s accusations, Cross insisted he gave their friendship his best but did not care so much for answering her persistent call to share a list. Instead, he cited a period when she went missing for 72 hours only for her family members to involve the Police.

The back and forth ended with the duo insisting they no longer wanted anything to do with each other.

Episode 10 of the Reunion show will launch tomorrow and will centre on the Saskay and JayPaul situationship.

Speaking on why he never pursued a romantic relationship outside the house, Whitemoney revealed that a comment Queen made in the house about getting intimate with Cross threw him off balance.

Episode eight finally wrapped with former besties Nini and Arin resolving their Cold War but not before a heated exchange involving Peace with Yerins stuck in the middle.

In a series of tweets Tacha trolled Emmanuel over his attempt to explain being found in a compromising situation during their Dubai trip.

Emmanuel shared that contrary to Liquorose’s claim, he was asleep when she began knocking on his hotel room door. It took a while to open the door because he did not know how she would have reacted to the situation and he didn’t try to explain because… Well, a lot of reasons.

Unfortunately for fans of the EmmaRose ship, the former lovebirds gave the crushing confirmation that their relationship was over and that they couldn’t be friends.

What better way to wrap up a heartbreaking night than a reconciliation? The viewers got the show’s second official conflict resolution after Beatrice apologised to Liquorose, amid tears, for saying that Emmanuel loved her personality but not her body.

Reacting to the clip, Angel excused her behaviour with the argument that she did not believe that there was anything serious between the pair. Housemates JMK and Saskay further confirmed that Emmanuel made suggestive comments which they found inappropriate.

Speaking of Angel's flirtatious behaviour, it appears to have come up frequently since the show kicked off last week. Again, Sammie got spotlighted to talk about his brief romance with Angel which ended after a major row where she accused him of body-shaming her.

The Reunion show will launch exclusively on DSTV and GOTV on June 2, 2022 with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as host. Confirming the show’s premiere, Ebuka shared moments from the show featuring housemates in near fisticuffs. There is currently no talk of the Reunion heading to streaming via Showmax.

Meanwhile auditions for BBNaija season seven are ongoing and expected to wrap up on May 30.

Fans are in for a thrill as this year’s reunion promises to be filled with all the juicy details and hidden secrets from the 2021 seasons. Housemates will get one final opportunity to share the same room with themselves and voice their thoughts on all the gossip from their time in Big Brother’s house.

The ‘Shine Ya Eye’ reunion will see all 26 housemates in attendance including: Angel, Peace, Jackie B, Tega, Arin, Maria, Liquorose, Beatrice, Princess, Saskay, Cross, JMK, and season winner Whitemoney. The show will see BBNaija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu return as host.

The show will premiere on June 2, 2022 to DSTV and GoTV subscribers. It’s yet to be confirmed if it will hit streaming via Showmax.

News of the Reunion show follows last week’s auditions announcement for season 7. Interested participants are expected to upload a three-minute video to the Africa Magic website.

Pere interestingly turned his fans to overnight detectives following his Friday afternoon diary session where he revealed that he was seeing someone before coming on the show.

In the chat with Big Brother, Pere admitted that he had no plans of pursuing a relationship with his former love interest, evicted housemate Maria Benjamin. However, he would consider taking up the reins from where he left off before the show.

Minutes after Pere's diary session, fans began trending photos of a UK based Sierra Leonean actress named Ramatu Koroma. Going by multiple tweets, the housemate had named the gorgeous actress as his lady.

Turns out the viral tweets were untrue as Pere's social media team recently released a disclaimer disassociating the 36-year-old from the actress while pleading with fans to spare them both the embarrassment.
