Paul George starred in the Indiana Pacers' NBA pre-season win over the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday.
George, who missed almost all of last season, scored 20 points in the first quarter of the Pacers' 115-112 victory against the Pistons in Detroit.
He finished with 32 points, with Joe Young (18) Indiana's next highest scorer in the win.
Ramon Sessions had a double-double of 11 points and 10 assists in the Washington Wizards' 129-95 thrashing of the Philadelphia 76ers.
Jimmy Butler and Doug McDermott each had 23 points in the Chicago Bulls' win, a 105-95 result against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Memphis Grizzlies edged the Houston Rockets 92-89 and the Denver Nuggets beat the Dallas Mavericks 96-86.
D'Angelo Russell, the second pick in the 2015 NBA draft, appeared to suffer a glute injury in the Los Angeles Lakers' 117-112 overtime defeat to the Utah Jazz.
In Italy, the Boston Celtics had no trouble getting past Olimpia Milano 124-91 at the Mediolanum Forum.
