Depay was able to meet the first citizen in Ghana during his visit. The Barcelona man met up with Ghanaian President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Depay made it known through a message on his official Instagram account. In the post, Depay posted a photo presenting his Barcelona jersey to the Ghanaian President.

Along with the post was a message that said, "I had the pleasure to sit down with the president of Ghana and talk about some beautiful topics, also the minister of sports and the minister of education we’re present.

"I spoke about the @memphis.foundation and told them that I love the country a lot. I believe the future of Ghana is bright."

Depay in the photos put on his gloves to spar at the gym and was also involved in the community.
