The Barcelona men's first team took to La Masia to have a team bonding session on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

The meeting at the youth academy was organized by the coaching staff led by Xavi Hernandez in collaboration with the players.

The team bonding session comes after Barcelona suffered their third straight loss at Camp Nou to Rayo Vallecano last weekend.

After conceding an early goal, Barcelona could not respond as they dropped a crucial three points in the race for Champions League football next season.

Barcelona's two other losses at the Camp Nou were in La Liga to Cadiz and also when German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt took them out of the Europa League.

Barcelona are still second in La Liga as a title challenge with rivals Real Madrid is now over.

The Catalan giants are level with third placed Sevilla and just two points ahead of fourth placed and reigning Copa Del Rey champions Real Betis.

The team bonding comes after an intense training session in the morning for the game at the weekend.

Barcelona took to their official social media handles to give an update on how the players are doing at the team bonding.

The photos on social media came with a message that said, "A little team-building BBQ in the gardens at La Masia."

In the photos, the players are seen smiling while digging into their preferred dish. Players such as Memphis Depay, Ferran Torres and Dani Alves took to the dishes to serves themselves.

Asides from the players and coaches, Barcelona president Joan Laporta was also in attendance.

After the team bonding exercise, Barcelona continue their preparation for their next game against Mallorca scheduled for Sunday, May 1, 2022.
