Shuaibu Amodu NFF confirms late coach is being owed 2 months salary

The NFF technical director died on Friday, June 10, 2016, three days after the death of ex Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi.

The Nigeria Football Federal (NFF), has confirmed that late technical director of the Super Eagles, Shuaibu Amodu, was owed two months salary before his passing.

This is following reports that the national football body refused to pay Amodu for a period of seven months before his passing.

The NFF, via its Twitter handle wrote, “NFF Gen. Sec, Mohammed Sanusi has confirmed the Federation owes late Coach Shuaibu Amodu salaries for two (2) months.”


According to Sanusi, that has been the case with every member of the Nigeria Football Federation.

He however stated that all the amount owed to Amodu, will be paid in full to his family.

“Sanusi: Every member of NFF Management is being owed salaries for two (2) months. The NFF will pay all monies due late Amodu to his family.”

Shuaibu Amodu died from his sleep on Friday, June , 10, 2016. This was three days after the passing of former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi.
