The Nigeria Football Federation released list of candidate's names for the September 30 elections scheduled to hold in Abuja

Outgoing president Aminu Maigari's name is missing from a presidential list of 7 names which comprises; Taiwo Ogunjobi (Osun state), Abba Yola Abdullahi (Kano), Chief Mike Umeh (Anambra), Pinnick Amaju Melvin (Delta), Dominic Iorfa Mtem (Benue), Dikko Shehu (Kaduna), and Amanze Uchegbulam (Imo)

In the list released by the NFF, Chief Emeka Inyama (Abia), Adamu Shehu (Kaduna), Seyi Akinwunmi (Lagos) and Suleyman Muazu (Sokoto) are left to contest for the position of first vice president

According to the memo, embattled Giwa FC owner Ambassador Chris Giwa withdrew from the race for the Football house, and so did Johnson Effiong, Obinna Ogba, Segun Odegbami and a host of others.
