Canadian teenager Brooke Henderson notched her second professional victory on Sunday, storming to an eight-stroke win at the Portland Classic.

Despite a bogey on the final hole, Henderson triumphed easily in Oregon, carding a three-under 69 in the fourth round to finish on 21 under for the tournament - well ahead of Thailand's Pornanong Phatlum, Ha Na Jang of South Korea and Chinese Taipei's Candie Kung, who shared second spot.

Austin Ernst, Mo Martin and Spain's Azahara Munoz claimed a share of fifth at 12 under.

Henderson set up her victory with bogey-free rounds of 66 and 65 on Thursday and Saturday.

With a four-shot lead heading into the final round at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club, Henderson effectively secured victory with three birdies on the front nine.

Another birdie followed the 17-year-old on the 12th and although she dropped a shot on the 13th, Henderson managed to stay steady through to the clubhouse to lift an LPGA Tour trophy for the second time this year.

Henderson also won the Four Winds Invitational in June.

A birdie on the 17th was again followed by a bogey but Henderson still saluted the crowd on the 18th green.
