Professional mixed martial artist,

The undefeated boxer with a 7-0 record was confirmed dead by the President of Mixed Martial Artist company, Bellator, Scott Coker.

In a report by Huffington Post, Kimbo Slice was announced dead several hours after he was reportedly hospitalized near his South Florida home for “undisclosed reasons.”

Speaking on the death of Slice, Coker said, “We are all shocked and saddened by the devastating and untimely loss of Kimbo Slice, a beloved member of the Bellator family.”

He said further, 'One of the most popular MMA fighters ever, Kimbo was a charismatic, larger-than-life personality that transcended the sport.'

The 6-foot 2-inch, 225-pound fighter made his MMA debut in 2007 and fought his last fight in February at Bellator 149, where he defeated Dada 5000.

However, the victory was reportedly overturned after Slice “tested positive for a banned steroid,”hence his record as an MMA fighter remains 5 wins and 2 loses.

He's survived by his longtime partner, Antoinette Ray and six children.
