Jason Pominville hit a third-period hat-trick to see the Minnesota Wild overcome the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL pre-season on Monday.
The right wing broke the game open in the final period to see the Wild to a 4-1 victory against the Penguins.
Pominville converted a pass from Zach Parise eight minutes 39 seconds into the third period and added another moments later.
He completed his hat-trick with an empty-netter with 20 seconds remaining.
Also impressing for the Wild was goaltender Darcy Kuemper, who made 32 saves.
