The Rock called CM Punk from the Staples Center when the crowd started screaming his name.
The Rock wasn’t there to fight, he was in the ring to shoot a scene for a movie he is producing about the life of wrestler Paige.
This happened after the fights of Raw on Monday while The Rock was shooting a scene of a match between actors playing Paige and AJ Lee- who is the wife of CM Punk- Los Angeles, crowd
As the mention of Lee’s name the Staples Center crowd started to chant the name of CM Punk.
The Rock responded by pulling out his phone to call his former colleague.

“Hold one second, superstar Punk, it’s Rock, this is not a joke, I’m calling you from the middle of Staples Center, we have 15, 000 people, I hope you can hear this,” Rock said in a message that went straight to voicemail.
“CM Punk, CM Punk, CM Punk,” the crowd continued to scream.
Punk, who has retired from wrestling took to Twitter to acknowledge the message.
“Thanks, Los Angeles. Nice to hear from you. @STAPLESCenter,” the UFC fighter wrote on Twitter.
