All Blacks hooker Dane Coles has withdrawn from the New Zealand squad ahead of Saturday's Rugby Championship clash in Argentina.
Coles has left Argentina and flown home for the birth of his first child, which is expected shortly.
The 27-year-old Coles was originally scheduled to leave for New Zealand after Saturday's Test in La Plata.
A short statement from the team's Twitter account said: "Hooker Dane Coles has returned to New Zealand to be with his partner, who is expecting their first child."
Keven Mealamu will replace Coles in the All Blacks' starting side and Nathan Harris could make his debut off the bench.
The All Blacks will name their full side on Thursday.
New Zealand top the Rugby Championship table with three wins from four matches.
