Ibrahimovic who joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2012 from AC Milan earns 1.5 million euros before tax
Paris Saint-Germain’s striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is now the highest paid player in the Ligue 1.
According to Le Parisien newspaper, the striker has been handed a 700,000 euros pay rise by the Ligue 1 leaders which makes him the highest paid player in the league.
Ibrahimovic who joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2012 from AC Milan earns 1.5 million euros before tax.
Since joining the club, the 34-year-old has scored 127 goals in 156 games to become the highest goalscorer in the PSG's history.
His future at the club is however still uncertain as reports have it that he will be moving to the United States MLS or the Premier League.
