Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is set to earn up to £10million in his final 10 months of his contract without kicking a ball.

Toure has been found himself frozen out of the team by Manchester City new coach Pep Guardiola.

The midfielder has started just one game this season and that was the second leg of the Champions League play-off against Steaua Bucharest, with City already leading 5-0 from the away fixture.

Guardiola has however offered a way back for the Ivory Coast midfielder, insisting that his agent apologises for statements he has made against him and the club.

Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk has been very vocal about Guardiola's treatment of his client, blasting the coach and demanding an explanation.
