Mercy Akide can't be so long forgotten in her exploits with the Super Falcons of Nigeria

Mercy Akide featured for Nigeria at three FIFA Women World Cup and 5 Nations Cup tournaments, scoring amazing goals and helping Nigeria to three African Women Championship titles in 1998, 2000 and 2002

She retired in 2005 and afterwards married a Nigeria journalist, Colin Udoh; Mercy Akide Udoh has been coaching in the US

Akide posted a photo of her daughter who could be taking up her mother’s career.

The little girl showed excellent ball control and movement before finally turning the ball into the net.
