The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have made moves to settle the clash between former Super Eagles skipper, Vincent Enyeama and Sunday Oliseh.
NFF hold closed door meeting with goalkeeper
The NFF Instagram and Twitter accounts shared a photo taken from the meting between Enyeama and federation heads
Enyeama and Oliseh during the week clashed at the Hotel Verviers in Belgium where the Super Eagles are based.
The goalkeeper after the clash announced his retirement from the national team after accusing Oliseh of dis-respecting him.
Enyeama however on Saturday, October 10, was back in Belgium from Lille to hold a closed door meeting with NFF president, Amaju Pinnick and vice-presidents Akinwunmi and ShehuDikko.
The NFF Instagram and Twitter accounts shared a photo taken after the meeting.
We could still see Enyeama in a Super Eagles jersey as he revealed that he is open to a return to the national team despite having announced his retirement.
Speaking to Galaxy TV a day before announcing his retirement, Enyeama said: “I’m still open to playing for Nigeria till I die, till the day I stop playing football, even at the age of 100, but now I just want to go home and be with my family.”
