After losing a host of stars to bigger teams, Southampton FC  manager Ronald Koeman is finding it difficult to keep hold of his best players as midfielder, Victor Wanyama has informed the club of his wish to leave.

Wanyama who is attracting interest from Tottenham has told Southampton that he will not be discussing a new contract with the club.

The Kenya international has two years left on his contract after signing from Celtic for £12.5million in 2013 and Southampton now value him at around £18m.

Wanyama according to Daily Mail is not happy with life in South coast and has been faced with challenges outside the field also.

His home was burgled last year and the midfielder is said to be looking for a new club to start afresh.

Tottenham are hoping they can secure a move for the midfielder and also West Bromwich Albion's Saido Berahino.

Southampton are also brazing themselves for a Manchester United bid for forward Sadio Mane.
