Father of striker promises to stay out of his career

According to reports, he striker is spoilt with choices of clubs to join as top European sides are in contact with his reps

After the exploits of his son Victor Osimhen in the FIFA U-17 World Cup, father of the striker has promised not to influence his son’s career.

Osimhen scored in all the matches as the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria won just concluded World Cup in Chile.

The striker scored 10 goals in the tournament creating a record as the highest goal scorer of U-17 World Cup.

According to reports, he striker is spoilt with choices of clubs to join as top European sides are in contact with his reps.

His father has however promised not to influence the striker’s decision on which club to join.

“God could determine what anyone would become in life,” Patrick Osimehn told Juliet Mafua of Television Continental in Lagos.

It could be recalled that Kelechi Iheanacho’s father influenced his decision to join Manchester City after his successful outing in the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
