Things are looking bright for Nigeria international forward Victor Moses at Chelsea after his performance in their first pre-season game has drawn applauses from manager, Jose Mourinho.

Moses featured in Chelsea's 4 - 2 loss to New York Red Bulls and Mourniho hailed the Super Eagles player after the game.

“Victor is strong, he’s experienced and he knows the Premier League well,” Mourinho told Chelsea official website.

“He’s fast and aggressive. Okay, he has to learn how to play with us but I’m happy with his week and his 45 minutes.

“Let’s see what happens but Victor had an evolution in the last couple of years.”

Moses and his fellow Nigerian player John Obi Mikel both started the game but were subbed later after the first half.

Mourinho however did not confirm if both players are his plans for next season.
