Former Nigeria international

Iceland's Euro 2016 got more remarkable as they came from behind to defeat England 2-1on Monday, June 27 and book a quarter-final meeting with hosts France.

Masterminding this fantastic team is former Super Eagles coach, Lars Lagerback who led Nigeria to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and walked away after the tournament.

Ikpeba, who played in two World Cups and has since held an advisory role at the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) took to his Twitter to reveal his admiration of what Lagerback and Iceland have done in Euro 2016.

“Iceland and Wales have shown what @NGSuperEagles can achieve with discipline, dedication and hardwork. Nothing is impossible,”  the former Monaco striker wrote on Twitter.
