The 31 year-old striker is desperately in a deadline move to the EPL with Arsenal and QPR reportedly in the chase

Defoe joined Toronto FC in January and asked to leave after the coach Ryan Nelsen was sacked yesterday, Sunday

According to , Defoe is rated at about £6million and QPR manager Harry Redknapp has placed a bid for the prolific striker

Further to the reports, Arsenal is yet to make an official bid, but the Gunners are not counted out of the race.
