With Le Guen already appointed by the NFF, Saintfiet has moved on by seeking to land the coaching job of the Bangladesh national team.

According to African Football, the 43-year-old has been invited by the Bangladeshi Football Federation for talks about taking over their national team.

The coach told the website that he is in Dhaka, the Bangladesh capital to discuss with the country’s FA.

Yes, I am in Bangladesh and I have an offer from them and they are waiting for me to sign but I will wait for a decision by the Nigeria Football Federation,” the coach told African Football.

Sainfiet, 43, coached the National Teams of Namibia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Yemen, Malawi and Togo, and also worked with the Qatar U-17 side, Young Africans FC of Tanzania and Free State Stars FC in South Africa.
