Today in the history of world football, Nigeria international, Nwankwo Kanu left Italian club Inter Milan to join Thierry Henry and other Gunners at the club’s Highbury stadium.

The move was worth £4.15 million and he debuted for the club in the game against Sheffield United. Kanu would feature for the club for six years with 30 goals to his name.

Papilo, as he is fondly called is the player with the third most of substitute from the bench for 118 times out of his 119 appearances for the club.

He won two FA Cups and a Premier League title with the club.
