Hector Bellerin has revealed that he has beaten Theo Walcott again as the fastest player in Arsenal
Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has been beaten again to the sprint record at the club by young full-back Hector Bellerin.
Bellerin was named the fastest player at the club after achieving 40m sprint time of 4.78s last year beat the previous record of Walcott who dethroned Thierry Henry.
The Spanish right-back has now told the UK Sun that he has won the battle again.
"Everyone keeps telling me different numbers," he said.
"But I know I beat Theo by literally one hundredth of a second after he had beaten Thierry, so you can do the maths.
"It was very close last year but this year I beat Theo by more of a distance. He won't tell you that, though!'".
After his breakout season last year, Bellerin is now the first choice right-back for Arsenal.
Injuries to Mathieu Debuchy meant the young full-back got his opportunities last year. Despite the return of the Frenchman, Ballerin has retained his place in the side.
He was in action on Monday, August 24, as Arsenal and Liverpool battled to a goalless draw in a league fixture.
