Defender, Onome Ebi rues draw against Ghana

The draw means the Super Falcons are level on point with the Black Queens with four points but ahead on goal difference.

Tournament’s leading scorer, Asisat Oshoala opened the scoring in the 19th minute for the Falcons before Elizabeth Addo equalised for the Ghanaians from the spot just before half-time.

Ebi is unhappy that the Super Falcons were not able to seal their qualification to the next round with a win.

"Of course, we wanted to win but it didn’t happen like that for our fans," Ebi told Complete Sports.

"And for us as players, it was sickening really not to have secured qualification against Ghana before the final game."

Nigeria face Kenya who are bottom of Group B on Saturday, November 26.
