The Super Eagles of Nigeria departed from the Abuja International Airport this morning for the first leg of their World Cup qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana.
On arriving at the Kumasi Airport, it was obvious there was no appropriate boarding ramp for their aeroplane and thus, an improvised flight of iron stairs was provided for the Super Eagles to disembark from the plane.
As of the time of this report, no official statement has been made by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), the Ghana Football Association (GFA), or any other concerned organisation.
The Super Eagles are scheduled to take on the Black Stars of Ghana at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday, March 25 at 8:30pm Nigerian time.
The return leg is slated for Tuesday, March 29 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja at 6:00pm Nigerian time.
