Super Eagles forward Isaac Success has moved to clear the air over the rumours and controversies floating around concerning his age.
'I'm not 30, I only have a big and strong body' - Isaac Success defends his age
Isaac Success and Kelechi Iheanacho both featured at the 2013 U17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates
The 26-year-old forward broke into the football scene in 2013 when he finished as the highest goalscorer with seven (7) goals at the 2013 U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
After featuring at the U17 World Cup at the United Arab Emirates in the same year, Success has played for Granada, Watford, Malaga (on loan), and currently with Italian Serie A side, Udinese.
I started football very early - Success
According to Allnigeriasoccer, Success noted that people believe he is as old as 30 because he started playing football very early.
The Udinese forward said: "People always think I'm older, but I'm the last of my brothers. I started playing very early, also with the national team in 2013, at the U-17 World Cup in Dubai.
I have a big and strong body but I am young - Success
The 26-year-old also attributed the doubt about his age to his physique, stating that people judge him by his 'big and strong body.
"I started very young, but I have a big and strong body, that's why people think I look like I'm 30 years old," Success stated.
Isaac Success recently told his official club media that he is looking to emulate Eden Hazard in the Udinese dressing room as well as stating that he listens to Afrobeats songs before every match.
Success has scored two (2) goals and provided five (5) assists in 17 appearances this season for Udinese since completing his move in August 2021.
