Super Eagles World Cup qualifiers against Zambia moved

The Football Association of Zambia have shifted the Zambia Vs Nigeria game to Sunday, October 9.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers between Zambia and Nigeria has been moved from its original date.

Zambia and the Super Eagles were to clash on Saturday, October 3 in matchday one of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Football Association of Zambia have however shifted the game to Sunday, October 9.

No reason was given for the shift but Football Association of Zambia have gotten the permission of FIFA and CAF.

Ahead of the game, Zambia drew their last game, playing 1-1 against Kenya in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria, however, beat Tanzania 1-0 in the same qualifier.

Both teams are in Group B of the World Cup qualifiers alongside Algeria and Cameroon.
