First choice goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme out of Senegal game

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Senegal in a friendly game on Thursday, March 23 in London.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Senegal in a friendly game on Thursday, March 23 in London.

Ahead of the game, Gernot Rohr will be without his number one goalkeeper, Ikeme who has picked up a hamstring strain in training.

Ikeme who plays in England for Championship side, Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. arrived in camp on Monday, March 20.

He injured his hamstring in the evening training session of Wednesday, March 22.

FC IfeanyiUbah’s goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa who arrived the Super Eagles camp on Wednesday, night is set to be in post for the game.
