After the sack of Stephen Keshi and with Amodu Shaibu setting up to lead the Eagles into the last two AFCON qualifiers, the Nigeria Football Federation is out searching for a new foreign coach who lead the Nigerian team into the tournament.

They were reportedly eyeing former Dutch international and ex-Chelsea boss, Ruud Gullit, but the 52 year-old will not be coming down to Nigeria for security reasons; some of them out of fear and some on sentiments

If other interests would themselves follow the ways of the Dutchman who would have been the third Dutch manager after Clemence Westerhoff and Johannes Bonfrere, to take Nigeria to major football tournaments
