While speaking to Complete Sports,  Oliseh said all the players will be duly assessed for injuries when training resumes on Tuesday, September 1 in Abuja.

We will assess every player before the game and only fit players will be listed to represent the country,” Oliseh said.

Lukman missed two games with Anzhi Makhachkala because of suspension and that makes him fresh going into this game while Obi will be assessed when he comes.

Speaking about the league, Oliseh said:

It’s very different now because I played in the league and watched the league occasionally as an ex-player but now as a coach it will be unfair to judge them but both teams showed glimpses of brilliance.

Abia Warriors were a handful for 3SC even if the Ibadan team profited from a defensive error, that’s not to say that 3SC didn’t deserve to win.”
