Muntari will miss the next Al Ittihad's games against Al Wahda and Al Nasr all at the Kind Abdullah Sports City, the home grounds of Al Ittihad.
He was suspended by a Disciplinary Committee decision from Saudi football authorities over his actions in the game against Al Wahda in the Crown Prince Cup [Saudi Champions Cup].
The Ghana international physically attacked an Al Wahda player, hitting the player to the ground but went on to play in the entire duration of the game.
After investigations, a Disciplinary Committee handed the player a two-game ban.
The 31-year-old is currently suspended from the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars after allegedly attacking a member of the management team during the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil.
