Sunday Oliseh says Nigeria has lost an iconic hero

The ex-international tagged the death of Keshi as an horrible occurrence that left sadness in the minds of many.

The ex-international, who shares almost the same honours with the late Keshi - they were both coaches, players and captains of Super Eagles - tagged the death of Keshi as an horrible occurrence that left sadness in the minds of many.

In a tweet early on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, Oliseh tweeted, "Horrible news & Sad day as Our legendary Captain & brother Stephen Keshi dies. May his blessed soul rest in peace. we lost an iconic Hero 2day"

Oliseh, who was employed to take over from Keshi after he was sacked by the Nigeria Football Federation, referred to the late football coach and player as a legendary captain.
