Mother of Nigerian coach abducted in Bayelsa

Samson Siasia's mum was abducted by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Monday, November 16

 

Just a day after escaping two plane crashes, coach of  Nigeria's Dream Team VI Samson Siasia is facing another difficult situation.

According to several reports, the aged mother of the former Super Eagles coach Madam Ogere Siasia was abducted from her house in Odoni village, Saghama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The reports revealed that unknown identified gunmen in the early hours of Monday, November 16 forced their way through the back door and took the woman before fleeing with a motorbike.

She was with her husband when the incident happened despite his pleas.

The abductors are yet to make an contact with the Siasia family.

Siasia is currently in Gambia where h is preparing the Nigeria U-23 team for the African U-23 Championship billed for Senegal.

On their way to Gambia, Siasia and his boys experienced some scares as the ARIK Air plane carrying the Dream Team lost a tyre while landing at Accra while the other plane that was meant to take them to Gambia made an emergency landing.
