The president of Real Madrid has dispelled reports that Gareth Bale will be sold in the summer to Chelsea

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has warned off Chelsea and other interested clubs that their Welsh star is not for sale at any price in the summer.

Gareth Bale has struggled for form this season and the fans have also blamed him for Real Madrid's slump so far this season.

The recent attack on his car by fans undefined in the summer but Florentino Perez has poured cold waters on the reports.

"We would never listen to any offers for Bale no matter what the bid was," Perez told Spanish publication Marca.

"He is a unique player who has already given so much to the team.

"He is the key to the club's future, just like I cannot imagine a future without Cristiano Ronaldo."
