Iheanacho did not play well as Leicester City played out 1-1 draw with Chelsea

Premier League giants Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Leicester City in a Premier League fixture played on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

Chelsea came into the game after losing to Liverpool on penalties in the FA Cup played at the weekend.

Leicester City struck first as James Maddison put the Foxes ahead with a goal as early as the sixth minute.

Chelsea recovered from early pressure and were rewarded with an equalizer in the 34th minute when Marcos Alonso converted a ball through to him by Reece James as both sides went to the halftime break level.

Chelsea pressed in the second half to score a late winner but Leicester City held on to grab a point at Stamford Bridge.

Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho rose to the top of the trends after featuring for Leicester City against Chelsea.

Iheanacho featured for 63 minute before he was substituted for youngster Harvey Barnes.

Iheanacho had some half chances to increase Leicester City's advantage but was found lacking with his decision making.
