Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao has been ruled out of action for two weeks with a muscular injury.

The striker according to Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho suffered the muscular injury while in training for their UEFA Champions League clash with Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday, November 4.

“It's an important injury. Not as important as the ones he has previously had. But one that will keep him out for a couple of weeks,” Mourinho said.

Falcao will miss Chelsea’s game against Kiev on Wednesday and Saturday's trip to Stoke in the English Premier League.

Falcao will however not be missed as he has struggled to make an impact since signing for Chelsea during the summer.

He has scored just one goal in 10 appearances for Mourinho's side so far this season.

Defender and vice-captain Branislav Ivanovic is however available for selection for the game against Kiev after three weeks out with a hamstring strain.
