Today is the start of final round of group games, with teams in Group A and B in action.
The first two matches for the day will see The Netherlands take on Qatar while Senegal battle Ecuador in a winner takes all clash.
State of play: Netherlands and Ecuador are joint top with four points. The two sides will qualify if they avoid defeat this evening. Senegal are third with three points, meaning they have to beat Ecuador to qualify. Qatar are fourth and have no chance of progressing.

Senegal XI: E Mendy, Sabaly, Koulibaly, Jakobs, Diallo, Ciss, I Gueye, Ndiaye, P Gueye, I Sarr, Dia.
Netherlands XI: Noppert, Dumfried, Timber, Van Dijk, Ake, Blind, De Roon, De Jong, Klaassen, Gakpo, Depay.
Qatar XI: Barsham, Mohamad, Miguel, Khoukhi, Hassan, Ahmad, Hatem, Madibo, Al Haydos, Almoez, Afif.
The players are out for the national anthem. For the sole purpose of this blog, we will focus more on Ecuador vs Senegal because after all nobody expect Qatar to beat The Netherlands.
Kickoff in both games.
Big chance for Senegal to take the lead, but Idrissa Gana Gueye fired wide off the post. That should have been 1-0 for the African champions.
A friendly reminder that Senegal have to win this game to qualify. They cannot afford to waste chances.
Another chance goes begging for Senegal as Boulaye Dia receives great ball from Ndiaye, but the Salernitana man hit his shot wide with just the keeper to beat.
It is still 0-0 in the other game between Netherlands and Qatar. If both results stay like this, The Oranjes and Ecuador will progress.
Netherlands 1-0 Qatar. Louis Van Gaal's men have taken the lead, and it is that man once again Coady Gakpo. His third goal of the tournament.
With that goal, Gakpo's price just went up again. The PSV captain is a man in demand, and his price will only continue to increase with these performances.
Meanwhile, Senegal have had ten attempts on goal, including three shots on target, but they are still waiting for the opener. They have to win tonight if they want to qualify.
But just as I finished typing that. Senegal were awarded a penalty after Ismaila Sarr was brought down in the box. Big moment in the game.
Ecuador 0-1 Senegal. Sarr cooly converts to put Senegal ahead and on the verge of qualification.
As it stands now, The Netherlands lead the table with seven points with Senegal in second with six points.
Almost a second, but Estupinan blocks for a corner, which Ecuador clear
Into the third minute of six minutes of added time
Ecuador 0-1 Senegal. Netherlands 1-0 Qatar. Half-time
Second half underway
Netherlands 2-0 Qatar. In the other group game, Frenkie De Jong has just doubled Netherlands lead.
Ecuador have started the second half on a front foot with Senegal happy to defend their lead.
Ecuador change. Estrada off for Reasco
Ecuador 1-1 Senegal. Moises Caicedo stabs home from a corner to draw Ecuador level.
To be honest, Senegal had it coming. There was no reason for them to sit back so early in the game.
Ecuador 1-2 Senegal. We witnessed drama in matches involving two African teams yesterday, and we are witnessing another today as Koulibaly stab home from close range to give Senegal the lead again
Incredible twists and turns in the last two minutes.
As it stands, Netherlands will progress as group winners with Senegal in second place.
Senegal change. Pathe Ciss is replaced by Nampalys Mendy while Bamba Dieng comes on for Iliman Ndiaye.
Almost a third for Senegal, which would have wrapped up the game. But Dia's effort is wide.
Six minutes of added time. Can Ecuador find an equaliser?
Two minutes left. Senegal defending with all their lives.
Netherlands 2-0 Qatar. It is all over in the other game. The Oranjes have secured top spot in Group A.
Ecuador 1-2 Senegal. It is all over. Senegal are through to the second round. What a result for the African champions. They came into this game, needing to win and they have done just that. Massive result for Africa.
And that concludes my shift for the evening games. I'll hand over to my colleague for the Group B games. see you tomorrow.
