The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have reported

The Super Eagles played Congo on Saturday, September 6 and lost 2-3 to the East African team, again the national under-17 side played Gabon in an African Youth Championship qualifier in Libreville

The eaglets scored first in the 4th minute, but lost the lead 22 minutes later when a Gabonese player pulled one back

Nigeria would be down to  man when goal scorer Victor Osimhen was sent out, that chance the Gabonese took and shot into the lead 10 minutes before end of 90

We all recall that the Super Eagles scored at the 13th minute against Congo, only for Claude Le Roy's boys to snip one in at the 16 th minute

Coach of Nigeria’s U17 side, Emmanuel Amuneke has assured that the Golden Eaglets who were beaten 2-1 by Gabon in a 2015 AYC qualifier would bounce back

Nigeria on Sunday lost to Gabon in Libreville; the Gabonese coming from a goal down to win the tie 2-1

Victor Osimhen shot Nigeria into the lead in 4 minutes, before Gabon pulled one back through Moubouhy Ngouba in the 26 minute, they later were to win in the 80 minute.

Amuneke said: "The boys gave their best under the circumstances that we found ourselves especially the difficult travelling arrangement which caused fatigue especially in the second half.

"But with all sense of responsibility, the officiating of this match was poor, but we have to put this behind us and focus on the second leg.

"From what we have seen, we would have come out with a better result if we had taken our chances in the first half but we can get better at home."

Nigeria host Gabon in a forthnight, shouldn't the call be fot them not to score first? And on the other hand, not let the opponents score early into the game or towards the end of the match.
