21 Year-old Abandoned Harvard Scholarship For Football

Patrick Bamford scored five A stars, three As, two Bs in his GCSEs but abandoned a Harvard Scholarship tosign for Chelsea

Ask most young aspiring men around the world who wish to do something in furthernce to their education, there are chances they have one of two places in mind or even the two; Harvard and Oxford universities

These institutions have either bred or made men of moving intellect and embodied brilliance

But one would beg the question as to the significance of these pathways for a 16 year-old who all through his life wanted education and when the time came, he decided it would no longer be a four walls classroom of studying but a perimeter wild, encircled class, thought on a green tough in the UK

Patrick Bamford is a Chelsea striker but is currently on loan at Middlesborough where he played a part in one of the longest penalty shootouts in football history against liverpool (30) which ended 14-13 in favour of the Reds

In his younger days he was into Rugby and though loved the game but stopped, after being advised of the danger in the sport

Bamford is proficient linguist, with  a good command  comversing in German and French and pursuing a desire to add Spanish to his lanuguage proclivity

This young man is moslty aself thought thorough 12 year-old who learnt his hands with the Guitar and Violin form Youtube tutorials, including Piano

In 2012, Chelsea, obviously knowing what an asset the young man would be, signed him for £1.5million; but after then, he has spent the last two seasons on loan at MK Dons and Derby County and now Middlesborough, under Mourinho's very own assistant at Real Madrid, Aitor Karanka

Bamford scored 29 goals all through his loan spells at Derby and MK Dons and believes that one day he would be lining up for the Blues at Stamford Bridge and maybe England, and  not leave like Romelu Lukaku, who according to him was eager to become a first team player

Bamford disclosed to a Daily Mail correspondent
