The 21-year-old who was loaned out to Championship side Hull City last season has been told he is not part of Maurizio Sarri’s plan for the new season despite playing a part in the pre-season preparations.
The Nigerian defender who missed out of the Super Eagles squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup reportedly had several offers from English club sides with Championship side Derby and West Bromwich Albion involved, while European side Villarreal,PSV Eindhoven, and Frosinone were also interested.
The youngster flew into Italy on Monday, August 13 for his medical with the Italian side and was seen at the Stadio Olimpico Grande according to according to Sky Sports Italia.
Sarri is counting upon Cesar Azpilicueta and Davide Zappacosta in the fullback position for the new season.
Aina who represented England at several youth levels is expected to suit Walter Mazzarri’s 3-5-2 formation at Torino as he can be part of the central defence or on either flank.

He could make his debut when Torino host A.S Roma in their season opener on Sunday, August 19.
