The world football governing body have now ordered the Serie A club to pay the midfielder on or before Tuesday, November 29.
“FIFA have given Lazio till November 29 to pay Onazi or face their wrath. He is being owed two months’ salary,” a source is quoted by African Football.
Onazi played 90 minutes as Super Eagles beat Algeria 3-1 in the matchday two of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
