When Razak Omotoyossi represented the Beninoise national team at a continental U-20 championship in 2005, he was thought to be Obafemi Martin’s brother, but the surname difference spells it all out that they are not.

The closeness in resemblance between the two Yoruba-born players kind of raises questions if they were not to be born together.

A ban from the Nigerian football authority ensured that Omotoyossi did not play for Nigeria and so he changed allegiance to Benin, the country willing to take him in.

The duo were spotted at a hangout somewhere in Lagos and sure they do look like brothers.

Omotoyossi returned to the roots of his playing days at Agege last December
